Softwall Cleanroom Design and Equipment
For durability, expandability and portability, it’s hard to beat a sterile softwall cleanroom environment. Softwall cleanroom enclosures can be designed to meet any class level from Class 10,000 to Class 10. However, softwall cleanrooms must be designed in a suitable location. High concentration areas of personnel traffic, equipment debris, or location in close proximity to an exterior building door are not recommended for maintaining a sterile, portable cleanroom environment.
Softwall cleanrooms typically include solid flexible shields on all four walls with a designated 3-foot access strip door. The standard interior height of a sterile softwall cleanroom enclosure is 8 feet. Ceiling tiles will be provided for all portable softwall cleanrooms not occupied by filters or lights. Leg levelers and casters with brakes are also available.
